After opening their first Bay Area location less than one year ago, Oakland's Raising Cane's has decided to close their dining room due to the rising number of vehicle break-ins in their parking lot and robberies in their neighborhood
"After several car break-ins in our parking lot, as well as numerous other robberies in the neighborhood, we proactively made the decision to close our dining room and operate our business through the drive-thru only," the company told ABC7 News in a statement.
Residents online reacted to the news with resentment for the non stop vehicle break-ins, but not surprised the company is being pro-active.
